A Seller’s Guide to Amazon Repricing Software

By |October 16th, 2017|Categories: Amazon, News, Tips|Comments Off on A Seller’s Guide to Amazon Repricing Software

Learn how to become an ace seller using Amazon repricing software in five easy steps.
Step 1: Identify Your Competition
Contrary to popular belief, you’re not in competition with every single seller on Amazon. Rather, you want to pick out the sellers who are:

Selling and/or shipping to the same areas as you so you can aggressively and accurately configure your prices. Why compete with sellers selling out of their own backyard if you’re not and have to work in border tariffs?
Selling similar or identical items as you. It’s no good to find every Amazon seller listing, say, t-shirts, as there can be a huge variance in quality, brand name, and therefore price.

The idea is you want to pick out sellers who most closely resemble you as possible so you can create repricing rules that will compete effectively.
Step 2: Set Your Min and Max Values
One of the worst things you can do is create a race to the bottom, so avoid setting your min prices too low—the only beneficiary will be the buyer, as you’ll lose profits. And for min prices, remember to factor in the […]

A Seller’s Guide to Amazon Feedback Software

By |September 3rd, 2017|Categories: Amazon, News, Tips|Comments Off on A Seller’s Guide to Amazon Feedback Software

Guest blog by Chris Dunne from FeedbackExpress. FeedbackExpress is a powerful, cloud-based software solution that helps Amazon sellers automate and manage their feedback communication with buyers. The software is proven to help sellers get more positive seller feedback and product reviews as well as removing any negative and neutral feedback quickly and effectively.

Most customers that make a purchase on Amazon, don’t leave feedback; the figure is around 5% or 1 in every 20 customers. There are things sellers can do to increase the likelihood of getting feedback such as automating the process with Amazon feedback software.
What type of feedback can people leave?
Buyers on Amazon can leave two types of feedback: seller reviews (how the buyer feels you performed throughout the transaction) and product reviews (their opinion on the quality of the product they received).
How is feedback rated on Amazon?
Feedback on Amazon is scored as follows:

5 stars = Excellent
4 stars = Good
3 stars = Fair
2 stars = Poor
1 star = Awful

Many customers are not aware that a 3-star rating (neutral), will actually count against your business and bring your seller rating […]

Why Gathering Feedback on Amazon is Crucial for Sellers

By |May 4th, 2017|Categories: Amazon, News, Tips|Comments Off on Why Gathering Feedback on Amazon is Crucial for Sellers

You’ve likely heard some variation on this: people only post a review when they’re unhappy and want others to share in their misery. But good reviews matter, too! Actually, all reviews are important when dealing on Amazon. If you already use FeedbackExpress, then you know what we’re talking about. But if you don’t, then read on to have your mind mini-blown.
The Single Most Important Reason for Having Reviews
Think back about 20 years ago. If the holes in your socks finally got big enough to the point you couldn’t wear them anymore, you schlepped out to the store and picked out another pack. Maybe you asked a salesperson some questions about them, or maybe you just picked up different packages to compare softness and strength. Either way, you could see immediately and first-hand just what kind of socks you were getting.

If your socks today got big holes and you had to replace them, it’d be far easier to just order them online. But without being able to pick them up, how would you know if they’d last a good long time before getting holes in them […]

4 Benefits of Building an Online Store

By |March 11th, 2017|Categories: Amazon, Multi-channel Ecommerce, News|Comments Off on 4 Benefits of Building an Online Store

Guest post by Helen Cartwright
The ecommerce industry continues to grow rapidly. In 2016, global ecommerce sales hit the $22 trillion mark. Customers are beginning to see the convenience of buying online, and they are even taking things a notch higher; they are shopping right from their smartphones. Many newbies want to tap into this market but have no idea where to start. If this is you, I have good news—creating an ecommerce business has never been this easy.

Is creating an online store hard?
Selling products online is not a mean feat. However, technology has made it simpler to build an online store faster than you could have ever imagined a couple of years ago. There was a time when building an ecommerce store was extremely hard. You were required to hire someone who knew how to code to create the site for you.

These types of people cost money. There is also no guarantee that the guy you hire will do a good job. They might build a sub-par site and run away with your money! Nowadays, you can do this tedious process with just a few […]

How l Started Selling on Amazon

By |January 26th, 2017|Categories: Amazon, News, Tips|Comments Off on How l Started Selling on Amazon

I never intended to sell online. Online retail seemed like the world of big companies, cut-price importers and small businesses trying to make a quick buck by any means. I never imagined I would be carving out my own little niche in that world. And yet, this month marks two years since I started doing just that.

Let’s start with how I got here. It all began with needing to make space and a little extra money. My lease was running out and soon after that insurance would be due on my car – my first, a cute little hatchback perfect for city drives, but insurance is steep regardless when you are a new driver.

Moving was more urgent. Anyone who has ever moved knows how much work it takes to sort and pack and ship and unpack everything, and how it’s also a good time to declutter sort out all that stuff that has accumulated over the years living in one place. For me, moving meant I had to finally part with a few of my books.

I’ve loved books ever since I was a girl, it’s […]

How to Respond to a Negative Amazon Product Review

By |January 17th, 2017|Categories: Amazon, Multi-channel Ecommerce, News, Tips|Comments Off on How to Respond to a Negative Amazon Product Review

You’ve just completed a sale and your buyer said your service was awesome — but the item itself was less than stellar. What do you do now? Well, if you’re really dead serious about improving on that aspect, then follow these handy tips courtesy of FeedbackExpress.
Know What Your Ultimate Goal Is
When faced with a negative product review, the first instinct is to make it go away. However, that can be a super long process — and not always with a good success rate. Instead, and as cheesy as it sounds, place your focus on trying to improve yourself so it doesn’t happen in the future. If the best defence is a strong offence, then your ideal tactic is to set up a frame in place so you just don’t get negative feedback in the future.
Where You Want Your Feedback to Go
There are two ways you can get a hold of your buyer:

Email them directly
Post a comment on their Amazon review.

There are pros and cons for each, so let’s take a look.

Email: You can talk about sensitive info without it being made public, […]

5 Benefits of Multichannel Inventory Management Software

By |January 10th, 2017|Categories: Amazon, eBay, Multi-channel Ecommerce|Comments Off on 5 Benefits of Multichannel Inventory Management Software

Unless you’re selling something truly timeless and niche market-y, then you’ll need a rotating inventory to keep up with supply and demand. SellerExpress really likes the idea of inventory management software so you don’t have to fiddle around the hard way. In fact, we love it so much, we’ve come up with 5 reasons why you should be getting on it right away.
1. Grab Every Precious Second of Time
Time is one of those very few things you can’t put a price tag on. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. But with inventory management software, the automation updates mean you don’t have to spend your time going through the data. Hello, time! And with that extra time, you can do whatever you want with it.

We recommend using it to promote and expand your business, but if the links are calling, then pull out your nine-iron and go.
2. Put Money Back in Your Wallet
Closely tied to the above point is what to do with money. It’s always a lot easier to figure out how to spend money than how to earn it, and using automated software helps save […]
