In last week’s blogs, I listed my products on eBay and looked at tactics to increase my eBay sales. I now want to show you how easy the process of linking SellerExpress to eBay is. Linking my eBay sellers account to my chosen inventory management software, SellerExpress, can be done in six easy steps and this blog article will guide you through each of them. Step 1: Initial setup I have signed up for a demo account and completed the initial set-up. I have chosen eBay.co.uk from the list of channels available, but you may wish to link your Amazon, Rakuten Play.com or webstore channel. Once, you've done this, you’ll be redirected to eBay and be asked to grant SellerExpress access permission to your account. Just select, "I agree". Step 2: Stock import Once you’ve breezed through step 1, it’s now time to import your existing stock. Just select your marketplace from the drop-down menu option and import. It’s been five days now and l haven't sold any of the products l listed on eBay. I’m slightly disappointed my eBay products are not selling but like most things in life, success requires hard work and dedication. It’s not all bad news though as my listings are being viewed, l just haven’t got a sale yet. In this week's blog, l'll be looking at reasons why my eBay products are not selling and some tactics to help improve my eBay sales. Possible reasons for slow sales Overcrowded marketplace There’s currently 1,827 Castelli branded products (new with tags) currently available to buy on the eBay marketplace. The total number of jerseys listed alone is 379. As a result, potential customers are finding a vast number of different buying options available to them. Time of year I am fully aware that l have probably chosen the worse possible time of year to start selling. Many people are being financially prudent after the Christmas period.
